Years ago, before ATMs, I was on a trip and ran out of checks. I called home and asked the wife to send me a few hundred bucks for 'beer, toiletries and stuff'.
The next day I received a wire for $50 with a note saying 'here's some money for beer and toiletries...your "stuff" is at home!!'
Always had spare checks with me after that!

Very observant Mr G and since it's Xmas, didn't really want to explain it in the where your nick came from thread. In the movie My Blue Heaven, Steve Martin or Vinnie had a dog named Funggulli. Merry Xmas

I think you guys missed the gool, also, there were usually two more italian words that followed, which translated to three american words. hint: where was it to be done?
I'm from Connectucut, our grammar school and highschool football games were fun, but, the fights after the game were more fun. LOL (LOL: english to italian translation= Laughing Out Loud.
Al (all the girls knew me as Alphonse DeCappo, but, that's not my real name, but, for sure, my real name is not 2gapa.)
