I have a Bell Express Vue. Recently, some channels started showing some little black squares and some information about the channel. It disapears when I click the remote (volume, channel etc.) but returns after a few seconds. It is very anoying. Do anyone kwnow how to get ride of these anoying squares?

That seems to be something coming from the station on those certain channels...

What is a channel in particular?

If it was coming from the station, wouldn't it always stay on (the garbage disapears when I use the Sat remote to change volume or when I display the channel information). The channels are FOX-E and TMN-3.

What script if any is on the card?

What IRD(receiver) are you using?

REBOOT your RECEIVER (http://www.connectisp.com/nightshift/bootprocedure.html) if it is coming from your IRD a reset should fix it...and don't run-away when you reply so if someone wants to ask a question you can respond...

First off , I don't think we are allowed to discuss scripts on this Canadian Forum . 2ndly , have you called Bell ? Could be a bad receiver . They should be able to troubleshoot it for you . What does your dealer think ?

I don't know about scripts. I have a Bell 2700. How do I reset it. Is there a chance I might loose my programming.

Thank you for your interrest Mr.Robinhood.

Try a reboot. If it still appears, clean the card and reapply the ?????.
