Just wondering, why it is taboo to speak about testing/Hacking on any sat's other than Dish and DSS. Is their a court order or law in Canada forcing P Den to restrict forums to only non Canada topics. Or is P Den just playing it safe. I noticed Dr7 does the same. What is the harm if US citizen ask and post the questions. Would other people like to be able to freely discuss x-pressV testing from within the US. I'ed like to know. I have full admin function to an unused forum based in the US. I may have found a use for it, if their is a need.

Good Question....Wish I knew the answer....Maybe Rise or TTRk have the answers...I think it may have something to do with aiding and abedding a criminal act

I beleive it is because the web sites you mentioned are both based in Canada where DSS testing on American Satelites is not illegal because we can not legally subscribe. It is illegal for people to "hack/test" Expressview in Canada so any info about it is also illegal. Based on this, Bell could get a court order and shut down the Den and any other sites that post such info.

If BEV succeeds in its supreme court cases against grey and black market DTV dealers, you can bet your last $ that they will shut down Pirates Den. Why? by promoting black market activities, you are just depriving BEV their expected revenue.

Imagine no DTV or Dish Network in Canada, guess how many more subscriptions BEV will get.
