I've got a 421 receiver. I came across what appears to be a memory dump(?) Just wondering if anyone else came across this and knows what you can do with this? :)

You can get to it by pressing (fairly quickly):
Options, 6, 9, 8, 7, 7

Looks like you can write to memory as well ;)

It's damn slow though.

It sounds like the dump cammand for the channel map and all settings.....Kinda like a hard reboot, no real purpose unless your kids have set a new password to prvent you from watching old episodes of I LOVE LUCY

You think that's it? It's gotta be more than that? Seems to cover quite the address range. Starts at address 0000h and goes to... ????

Ya I see what you mean......I sure am interested to find out more......but I don't think it can be talked about here.
Ya it sure looks like the memory can be re-writen, but to what and how for what porpose??????????

well... Just want to know what can be done here... Thats it of course :) Perhaps some others can take a peak at this as well
