3 birds seaching for sat

i have a rca rec can i use a dish 500 with duel lnb to get the 110 and 119 birds and a second dish to get the 101 and hook them to a sw21 switch to get all 3 the dish 500 has a switch build in also? if so is the 110 and 119 in the same location as dishnet ? i tryed this and as i change channels i get searching for sat then it finally switches over is there a smoother way thanks in advance am new go easy please

Your situation would seem to be the normal transaction...

given that when you switch between satellites you must wait for the signal to come from a few degrees different either by elevation or azimuth change...

How long are you searching for signal? under a min. would seem to be normal switch over time...

Unless you had independent dishes, A,B,C switches set-up, your set-up would seem the most logical, if your not waiting for long periods of time...just my thoughts
