signal in one transponder only

im helping a friend set up his dish. got a 92 signal strength twice but it was 0 on all other transponders. what are we doing wrong?

Given the wealth of information supplied, I say you're probably hitting the wrong satellite.

Did you get anything on the TV screen? Any programming at all?

hi, i had same problem with a valid tested card and worked.
try to get the setting elevation and the azimith fromt the web site not from the reviever. you may hit the wrong sat.
ok did you get signal from 24-32 transponder?
if you do then you hit the wrong 119 bird.

here what you should do.

if you can manually adjust the tranpsonder to lower like 20 like 2 is best. then play around with the dish

i would assume you are getting transponder 28 which means you are on the wrong bird need to go to the east about an inch or so and maybe down 3 degrees
