I just got ahold of a Echostar Dish 300. It looks just like a normal, single-sat dish. But it's got two coax cables coming out of the lnb. Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but is this a dual lnb for operating two receivers? I understand that I could only receive programming from one satellite with this model. But could I have two receivers, or is this extra coax line just for HDTV or something? I know that Dish hardware is completely compatible with Dave's stuff. If this is a dual-lnb unit, could I operate two Dave IRDs (same sat, I know)?

I believe you have a "Dual LNB" for connecting two IRDs/receivers to a single dish aimed at one satellite slot.

DishNet also has multiswitches for this system to connect more than two IRDs (limited to 64 I think...something like that).

FWIW
