Hi!I just installed a second IRD and it is always searching for satellite signal.The other one is working great,can this problem be,because I'm too far from the dish or because of the orientation of the dish? Thanks.

Cellular the dish have two conection ,my friend gave to me,and both were working.What I did is run two coax,but I believe I'm at the limit of distance.I didn't use any splitter.The signal is around 70,69,but I don't get that in every transponder.

Where are you located? Your signal sounds pretty low to me . It might be that your dish needs a little tweeking to get a better signal, as a signal of 70 for your best is really low.Also if one IRD is working fine I suspect that you have a bad cable running the second one .Is it RG6 and one solid piece from the ground block? Are your fittings tight and Installed correctly? Check there first then get back to us and let us know what you found.Cellulars comment on reinstalling is your best bet.Make sure the mast is level and step behind the dish and check the sight line and make sure there isn't anything in the way like eves,trees,buildings ,ect.
