Where should the Ground Wire be attached? Or does it not matter. I get a good signal but still lose signal every so often(Just small glitches!)I just replaced my LNB. But still there.I'm checking all receiver right now.
Should I switch out all Coax?

All receivers are doing it ever so often. I'm now going to check all the break points in the system and ground all of them. Splitters, multi switch Ect....

Start at one end or the other and check all the connections. Just unscrewing & tightening them might solve the problem (oxidazation).

Check your signal strengths.

Check your dish aim...maybe it's been blown or knocked off-point.

Look for signs of birds hanging around your LNB.

Listen to your multiswitch to see if it's clicking (even when the channels aren't changing). If it is, then unplug all of your IRD/receivers the MS too if it's powered)....then plug the MS in, then each receiver/IRD (re-index the relays/switches).

Good Luck

Smack,

My Multi switch always clicks! I lay in bed at night and count the clicks.
Do I unplug from the Multi switch on both side and then plug everything back in?

Don't disconnect the coax, just remove the power from the IRDs and the multiswitch, then re-establish power to all the components, starting with the multiswitch.

The multiswitch shouldn't click unless someone's changing channels somewhere. If it's clicking on it's own, you probably have a flakey (shield) connection somewhere, maybe a bad ground, maybe a ground loop.

Good Luck
