would like to know if the expressvu reciever and card can be used to get dishnetwork programming?

You can point your EXVU dish at a Dish Network satellite but all you will see are promo/barker channels. You would have to buy a Dish Network receiver to see their programming.

can you put a expressvu valid card in your dish receiver
and call them up to sub? or will they know you have a expressvu card?

You could try but I doubt it because all the EXVU card and receivers are sold as a set.

Your WRONG andrew, you do not "need a dishnetwork receiver" because they are identical (echostar receivers) the hack is even the same but different keys..

Yes, but we don't talk about hacking in this forum. So you need an EXVu receiver and card to view EXVu and you cant put an EXVu card in a Dish receiver to subscribe to EXVu.
