anyone know where i can find a really cheap tower or anything for tat matter just to run an emulator

Try http://www.retrobox.com. If you don't see one for $25-30, check back the next day. They really move the used computers and their inventory changes often. They test the units before they send them to you and you can charge it to a credit card.
I prefer the old Dells because they come with 2 serial ports from the factory. You can do a search by manufacturer or look at the entire inventory.
Watch the inventory closely and you can find an old 486 or an old Pentium for less than $50...usually closer to $25 and your total with shipping will be around $50.

Tweeter is right, I saw some pentium I 75 hz with 2 serial ports for $25 last week at retro box.

Picked one up at the flea market this weekend for 75.00.66mhz...windows 95,and the man threw in 2 serial port cards and an external modem.also guaranteed it for 90 days.

I bought 4 at&t globalysts.(30 a piece, not bad) I picked them, because there com ports have all been right on the nose for emulation.) Different sources. I dont know if they are all like that, but 4/4 isnt a bad ratio. )

thanks all i found one at retrobox for 30 bones hehe i will be back to seeing you soon mr. dt* the sales rep for retro said gheez these chep puters with 2 comm ports are very popular do you have any idea why ??? ya i said my uncle dave wants me to run an emulator for free tv .
