I've been playing with this hobby for about 8 months and throughly enjoy it.Now that the traditional method of programming is almost gone I've ordered a emu and purchased a cheap computer. Please tell me this investment was a wise one.

Who knows if it was a wise investment in the long run, however, for the short one, it is a wise investment as long as you have a subbed or cloned H card.

There is something else in the works, first version should be released within a week. It is called a boot-loader, actually it's like a card caddy. Tricks the receiver and skips the boot sector of the card which was hit by the ECM. From what I read, experimental models will be working by this evening. Parts cost for the bootloader $ 5.00, yep, five bucks from what I read. Commercial models will be priced higher. Of course, what I have passed on might be total BS, however, that is what I read.

Like experimental airplanes, some crash on takeoff, and some end up to be stealth fighters.

So what kind of hardware does this boot loader work with?

P.S. I have 2 good cards. Not really sure why,my brother lives about 15 miles from me. I programmed his card with akt63 same as mine (no tier block or 900 fix). He got fried at 8:30 and mine never went down.Lady Luck must have been here watching tv with us.
