Anyone hearing anything about napster? I have been hearing that it is going to be a pay service soon. I knew it what
coming just did not know when.

Just heard on CNN that napster will become a subscription based site as early as this Spring.

yeah well , watch out for that DIGITAL MILLINIUM COPYRIGHT ACT, they will boot you for downloading what they feel you should not, but who cares , there are millions of music sites

makes no difference there are many napster clones out there, that do they same, if not more than napster did, they utilize their own servers, and have just as much music...and they WONT be pay anytime soon:)

I heard Napster will become a pay site by spring or summer.

Yes everyone, it's all true, Napster is going to start charging users to download mp3s in June or July. Here's the full detail....by the way, the new version sucks!

Jeez are we becoming lazy or what, you can't bitch about Napster, hell, I have gotten thousands of songs for free, now I will just switch to another music site, big deal. Damn, if it doesn't jump into our laps for free we are getting angry! Well, folks, there is no such thing as a free lunch, you at least have to look around and work a little. Hmmmmm.

Since they're going to start charging soon, everybody's going to switch Napigator.

Did anyone experience anything different about the new version of Napster, it takes kind of long to play a song, usually it's instant play when I double click on a song? Now, I'm trying to find a way to get my older version (2.7) back!
