I've been jumping back and forth between BEV and DTV and noticed the BEV picture quality is somewhat washed out. Looking at CNN on both 4700 and RCA 480 running direct vidio (not Svidio) the DTV picture seems much more colorful and possibly more detailed. This is most noticeable while looking at the weather map. To put it another way, the BEV sig looks like good cable and DTV looks like it is running on a more expensive TV.
Can someone comment on a comparison with Starchoice ? To be fair it might have to wait for F1.
