When you reply, be certain that the "Automatically parse URLs" option is checked.

I'm not good at explaining it, but I'll post a link to another thread and right above my post where you see "Profile" "Search" "Edit" "Quote/Reply" "Private Message" click on "Quote/Reply" and you can see exactly what I did to post a link, Ok??? I usually make my links red only because it's easier for me to see, if you don't want to use red just take that word and the word color with the brackets around them out...

The gif has to be on-line not in your hard drive, if it's there you'll need to upload it to some free sight then just use the address like this, with the correct stuff in front and after the address...click on "Quote/Reply" again:

I don't type any of it, where ever I store a gif, I just right click on it, go down to "properties" do a copy and paste of the address in my post and put the correct things in front and behind the address to make it active...

I think I got it. wow this is alot for me to learn all at once, For what time a day it is now in my world (Been up for 20 hrs. worked 4pm-3am last night)
but i've been curious for a some time to how all this is done.

Oh, I get it now.....you have to replace one of the brackets with this [red]=[/color]! This one is more confusing then posting images.
