I was glad to help. It's easy when the person on the other end of the phone understands what you are saying.
I would like to be the first to welcome the Cerberusi to the Emulator Club!

...after looking back at what was done it was as simple as 2gapa said it would be. (Except for that darn 486 puter we were trying to configure the COMS on) 2gapa held true to his word - "You'll be emulating today!" cerberus is fascinated by the "numbers flying across the monitor" and had rather watch it instead of TV! LOL :)
Coop
..Thanks!!! It's a real RUSH (ask 2gapa) when it happens! I now know what you mean when you say "It's not about watching TV!!"

I have to admit it was really a RUSH to emulate...even tho I was under the house repairing floor joist when the moment arrived:) But after listening to Mrs C gloat...well...I think I'll have a beer:D [yellow]2gapa[/color] many thankz...you have created a monster...maybe she will become the first female mod here...

Congratulations! I knew yall would get it figured out. Mrs. C seemed much to determined to fail. It is a rush when you get it all up and running! Now you are going to find out about boring cuz that emulator is going to go and go and go.....not much left for you to do now :D. Watch TV I guess lol.

Actually, in chatting on the phone with cerberus, I found out he is running two 102RWs. I just happen to have three new M27C4001 eproms and a pocket programmer that have been collecting dust since I did the 303 mod on my old 203RW (I ordered 4 and got it right with the first 1). I figure in a couple of weeks cerberus will be getting bored and will want to "upgrade" those IRDs :) I know I would be willing to make him a "real sweet deal" on a couple of programmed eproms. He may even be lucky enough to find his IRDs factory socketed.

Congrats CERBERUS'. I've been watching your progress with this emulation with much interest as I'm going to set it up next week. What was the biggest problem that you ran into? Was it the old puter? It scarred me a little as the computer savy Mrs.C was getting frustrated, becuse I'm not as computer literate as I wish I was. After all , I'm just an installer. I hope I have the help from a den mate when I'm ready to start. NOW a question from any other den member. I was up and running with 4 IRDs before BLACK SOMEDAY. DO I need 4 emulater setups to run at the same strength or is there a way to incoperate one setup to run multi IRDs. I know, one at a time, walk before I can fly, ect, but will it work with 3 programmers and 3 emu cards. I just dont want the 4 extra computers running.

SMOKER,
Yes, from what we have learned you will need an emu for each IRD. They wouldn't be able to "talk" to the cpu all at once.
