Any electricians out there? Help!

I need some advice please. I am having problems with my wireing in my house I think. First my TV screen started shrinking from the sides. Then in shrunk so much it turns off by its self. I turn it on, it turns off. So I plugged it some were else, same thing. Then I noticed after the central heater cuts off the TV is OK. This morning (with the heater on) I noticed lights around the house were dim. The kitchen flouresent lights would not turn on all the way. As soon as the heater cut off the light went bright. Am I having wireing problems or is it just time to upgrade my TV? Any response would help. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a loose commom on main leads
call power co. and ask them to check this
if its on ur side they will tell you good luck

First thing I would do immediatly,Make sure your heater is connected to a circuit breaker (the right amperage) or fuse,Make sure it is not bypassed, If your ok there with circuit breaker or fuse,If you have access to an amp meter, Connect the amp meter to the feed (hot) wire from the heater and check what amps its pulling, You should have a lable some where on the unit with all the specks,probly on the inside of the door, Just guessing could be a bad blower motor, But thats just grasping at air, Make sure theres a breaker or fuse connected, In wall wire fires are sneaky, If you don't have smoke detecters and carbon monoxide detecters I would also get some,Better to spend a little money and be safe, Good luck and let us know what you find out.
