Hello, I'm thinking about getting a DirecTV system for my home in South Mexico, near the Guatemala border. I have an old 10 foot BUD that is no longer used and I want to use that dish to get the DirecTV signal without any rain fade and with a good signal. I just need to know how to add the DirecTV LNB to the feedhorn assembly of the BUD. I'm not particularly interested in keeping the C-Band LNB but if it can be done without removing it would be great.

Thanks

not trying to tell you wht to do but i would invest into a oval (eliptical) dish that you woulnt have to worry about rainfade.

An oval dish won't work, the signal is very weak down there. It is also a very rainy place.
