I am in the States
I have just gotten a receiver that is Bell VU
Can it be used with the sats in the states
When doing a signal test etc,
I do not have but one sat to choice from?????
Sorry if this is stupid,but I have never seen this

Sorry no Bell/Vu satellite information in these forums as
this site is located in Canada and it is illegal to do so.

So you mean that it is a Canadian service???

BEV information is certainly allowed here. There is even a forum called "Canadian Satellite (Subscription Only) Discussions".
What he asked was not about hacking BEV. He asked about whether he can use the receiver for a signal test. Since the BEV receiver is the same hardware as the Dish Network receiver, yes, he can point the receiver to 30W, 61.5W, 91W, 110W or 119W to do a signal test. I am not very sure about 30W, but I vaguely remember RTVE Digital package uses the same echostar equipment too.
