i'm in the process of trying to re-locate the Dtv 119 bird, but the problem is i keep hitting the 101 bird instead. i already have one pointed at the 101 slot. i'm trying to aim my second dish at the other bird to no avail. were is the 119 located in relationship to the 101, and were should i set my elevation and my azimuth to insure that i hit the 119 bird. anyone have any suggestions because i'm beginning to lose hope.
Thanks,
Rufus

This has been posted a couple times, please do a (better?) search next time.
The 119 is 18 degrees further West (119 - 101 = 18), and about six degrees lower than the 101. The apparent lower elevation is due to the tilt of the Earth & slot position.
Good Luck

I was doing the same the last weekend, and have the same problem, so I research the internet and I find a page that said if you want to localize the 119 sat, you have to use the setup screen on the signal meter screen and change to channels 22,23,24,25,27,28,30,31 because that the only transponders working on that location.
I is right to move the dish west 18 degrees and low the dish a little i don't know how much but this work fine.
I didn't know in what direction to move the dish so i move to the left if you have the dish in front of you, I hope this can help you.
You can be sure you're hitting the 119 bird because you can see the 405-500 channels and the 660-700 channels that are the spanish channels and some more local channels from san diego, san antonio, austin, etc.
