Cellulor: Thanks for the fast reply!
Ex is short for experience, {have you had your grubby little hands on the TOY?}
Have seen a couple three post on the oblong dish that picks up both sats. R sack say they got it comming soon. I see no hardware yet.
Like to be first installer with the mostest
when it arrives.
P.S. Secound sat up seems to be mostly USA
gov issue. NASA, SSI, IRS, etal, with lead ins to a lot of new service.
Thank you mister Boyle. Don't know what the
H#$%% Clints doing or who. But the VP seems to be making good on at least a few promises.

The elipitical dish with two LNB's is out for some time now.. saw a banner advertizer here on this site who had them for sale.
Soon there will be an eliptical dish with 3 LNB's.. coming out very soon.

I have the new eliptical dish. The feedhorn has positions for three LNBs, but only comes with two ("Universal").
Also with the dish is a 4X4 passive multiswitch (no inputs for broadcast antenna).
My newest IRD (Sony A50) does not see both satellites at the same time.
To make the new dish work, you will need to find out what "TILT" value (rotation around the elevation axis) is correct for your location. I cheated & went to a dealer that had the RCA DTC-100 (HD set-top box with DSS Plus)and got the numbers from his setup.
I got the dish at Best Buy, ~US$200.00. The sales clerks had no friggin' clue about the dish, but did allow me to open the box to verify it was the dual/triple dish.
To expand to the third (single-only)LNB, an additional multiplexer is required that combines one line of the second LNB output with the output of the third LNB. The combined signal is connected on the 4X4 multiswitch to where the second LNB line was removed.
There is a reference on the "B" input for "22Khz"...I think that's a bandwidth widening thing...I don't remember the details, but may limit what can be attached there.

Well, I looked at the installation manual for the 24X18 oval dish. I think the problem is the input count.
If you're only using two LNBs, then each of the dual LNBs has an input to the 4X4 MS. To add the third LNB (actually the fifth), you have to disconnect one of the "B" connections from the MS, and move it to the additional multiplexor input (which also has the input from the third SINGLE LNB). The output from the new, additional multiplexor goes on the MS terminal that used to have the second "B" connection.
If you added another dual LNB, there would only be room for one connection. Im sure you could use a dual, but you'd be "wasteing" one LNB connection.
The other caution is that the LNBs must be a "Universal" type (identified by a sticker that says it works for all the services) in order to respond/function to the 22Khz signal used to widen the reception bandwidth.
There's no part number listed in the book for the "Sat C Combiner"....perhap one of the dealer types can enlighten us.

Sounds like you need a 22hertz tone multiswitch.

I've been trying to figure out how to combine 3 DUAL LNBs together. Currently I have a Ethnic and DirecTV setup from Skyview Media. KU Dual LNB at 95 West, and Dual RCA LNB to 101. Now I'm trying to get a Dual RCA LNB to 119 for HDTV, since I'm planning on getting a ATSC/HD DirecTV Receiver.
Anyone else have an idea, the above post say the third LNB would have to be a Single LNB unit, can you verify? And who else makes a 4x4 Multiswitch? The one I have came from Skyview, and it was manufactured by "NAS"...but I can't find any info on these people.
Let me know, thanks

Actually the Kit from RCA comes with ONE 22khz 4x4 Multiswitch. However I can't seem to find another manufacture for the additional unit.
Also I have called RCA regarding that kit, and I got a part # from RCA for the two LNB, which happens to be the same part #.
RCA Part #246492 and it's around $75+shipping
