You didn't mention in your post whether you have two runs of coax (one for each LNB/receiver pair)...or if you're trying to use one coax with some kind of splitter / diplexor.

I know it sounds like a basic question...but ya gotta start somewhere (Plugged in? Turned On? Cables connected?...etc).

Sometimes it helps to know what kind of dish, LNB, receiver, coax (RG6 or RG59), taps, drops, splitters, diplexors...

Try swapping IRDs and see if the problem follows the box.

Check the connections on the LNBs.
Make sure the center conductor of the coax is long enough to engage the socket on both ends.

Hope this helps.

Now that you mention it, I have RG6 going from the dual LNB into the ground block and then regular coax cable from the block to the reciever. Would this be the problem??

Its possible, but I'd guess not probable, unless you have extremely long runs from the block to the IRD.

RG6 has a much larger center conductor, so it exhibits less loss compared to the same length of RG59. I s'pose its conceivable that you could drop enough of LNB power to make it flakey.

Try connecting the LNB directly to the dish, or just a short jumper from the block to the IRD & see if your channels come back.

Check signal strength on all transponders. See if you have good signal on both odd and even transponders.

it could be a couple of things but the easiest things to be wrong are
1 one side of the dual lnb is bad
2you may have a splitter in line with the second reciever{between the reciever and lnb}
