Just have to vent. I ship items all over the world, I have shipped a chocolate mold to Japan, A firehelmet to Italy, Surgical instruments to Austrailia, even a printer to a missionary on a tiny island in the pacific (Vanuuatu), so I am not new to shipping and the P.O......

I have never in my life, had so much problem sending anything anywhere as I do with Canada!!! What the hell is it with Customs! Are those guys not getting laid or what?
I mailed an envelope, Global Priority Express, cost me $15.00 flipping dollars. Supposed to be 2 to 3 days, maybe 4, anywhere in the friggin world. Here I am, less than 500 miles from Canada, and they manage to take 6 days in customs! What in the world is that? I thought Canada and the U.S. were supposed to be on good terms! My heart goes out to you fellow pirates in the GWN! Check out the tracking information my $15.00 paid for!:

Well, I would have spent the extra $10.00 or so, and shipped Fed-Ex overnight. Save yourself a headache next time.

I just got a letter from the canadian customs. They wanted to know how much the bootloaders I had sent were worth. They said I could come and pick them up myself or that I could pay a duty fee and they would let them go to their destination.Or have the people come and get them their self.I had sent these FED EX over night .I did not think they would be checking these in customs but they did.So I;m not going after them, and will not get back intouch will them or tell the people where these were going to to go get them. They gave me 30 days to reply or they would destroy them.I guess the will do just that.Have never had any problems before. On educational and testing electronics.Things do change though.I guess I'll bite this one and not ship any more to canada.Thats their loss and mine too.SLM

So, I take it, you did not declare them on the INTERNATIONAL AIRBILL? If not, that is where you
screwed up........ I have never had a problem with customs.
