I connected a Channel Master 6214IFD 4-way multiswitch to dual RCA LNB and it's working OK. My question relates to the 2 connections on the multiswitch labeled LHCP input +18V and the RHCP input +13V. Does it make a difference which side of the LNB these are connected to? The diagram shows one side of the LNB as LHCP and the other as RHCP. I don't see any markings on the LNB which identifies these connections.
Any information on why there is a distinction between LHCP, RHCP, +13V, +18V, and how the multiswitch works would be appreciated.

It's the voltage applied to the LNB which selects the polarity:
+18V = LHCP (horizontal polarization)
+13V = RHCP (vertical polarization)

The Stark Electronic web site (I can't give their obvious URL) contains abundant specs on your ChannelMaster multiswitch; see pages /cmsatp12.htm and /cmsatp14.htm.
