If you want to watch two different channels at the same time, you may have to get a dual LNB.
I use the splitters found a Radio Shack, and have four receivers hooked up to my dual LNB, and it works fine, with one exception.........if all four are on at one time, two get all the channels, and two only get some of the channels.
That's because the splitters won't allow two receivers, on the same line, to send the current up to the LNB.
So in your situation, if you get one of the splitters, and run RG6 to each of your receivers, then you can watch both at the same time, but one will get all the channels, and one will only get some of them.
I hope this is clear.....if not, let me know, and I will try to explain better. :)
Good Luck

Drummond52: Splitters is not the answer. A dual LNB and a multiswitch will allow you to fully watch all channels on all IRDs. Multiswitchs come in 4 outputs and 8 outputs models.

Alpine speaks the gospel. One dual LNB, One multi-switch with the number of ports you need or expect to need in the next year or two and you're in business.
