I am looking for suggestions. Here is my current setup.

I have a sony dual lnb and cable (for UPN and WB. I am feeding the lnb cable and cable into a diplexer. The diplexer output to my SONY A50 IRD. I have the SVIDEO hookup to my SONY big screen TV, SVIDEO to SVIDEO connection (Video 1). The audio/vido rca cable outputs to VCR in. VCR out to TV (Video 2).

Now, I have a 2nd receiver in my daughters bedroom. Each one of the receivers (2) is able to view different channels.

I just bought a TV for our bedroom. I wanted it to be able to see the same channels as the primary TV. I bought an X10 Video Sender. The problem is my sony (primary tv) has no VIDEO1 output (SVIDEO). So in order to get the X10 to work, I had to take the A/V RCA jacks without the SVIDEO from IRD and hook it up to my TV VIDEO3 inputs. I then took my VIDEO3 outputs to my X10 INPUT. It works fine with the the only problem being that SVIDEO is not being used and the picture quaility took a a big drop.

Any Ideas

What you need, apparently, is an S-video "splitter." I'd never heard of one, but realized that the same type of device would allow me to take advantage of the S-video output from my DVD player.

Via my favored search engine (metacrawler), I just found a web retailer (cablesnmor) that markets a 2-way S-video switch box (x884870) for $12.00. I've ordered mine tonight.

Thanks for the prompt!

I'll let you know in (hopefully) a few days. From the photograph, it looks to me (with my LASIK-enhanced vision) more like a 1-->2 or 2-->1 splitter, rather than an A/B-type switch. Maybe that's wishful thinking on my part. You probably noted that they also carry a 4-way S-video switch for $15.00

Look at RS 15-1966, good quality 4 way audio/video/S-video switch made by Recoton. I use JVC powered/remote controlled switchers available in 4 way and 7 way versions. They allow all outputs to be active and convert composite video to S-video.
