impaired signal

quick question, after satellite dish and receiver installed, on a 61" Philips big screen tv, everything is fine except that periodically there are horizontal cycling
lines for awhile then they go away.It seems like it may be a signal issue but receiving
90 on the sat transponder signal and no rain
or clouds around.I cant figure it out sometimes its there and sometimes it is not.
Any suggestions, please help

Sounds like it could be a problem with the cable between the receiver and the TV. Try a different cable or an alternate connection type such as composite video, S-video, or RF cable to try to isolate. Could be a defect in the receiver or TV, try swapping one or both.

also check where you installed dish it could be picking up niose from a near by motor
