G'DAY!! all. first off i would like to say that it's good to be back here at the den. the family and i have spent the summer down unda in me native Australia. ive been away since the month of december. and have just recently returned to the states. you may laugh at me if you like but from what i understand is that there was a ecm in january. is this true? what type of damage did it cause? my card and ird were removed and unpluged while i was in Australia. and i have yet to use them. (not sure it's a good idea) i have also come to find that there is a hack for the hu. is this also true? it may seem funny that i don't know what has happened over the last few months. but me luv and i just had a new baby that we took home so me mum could see for the first time. and i realize i have a lot of catching up to do on me favorite hobby. i am afraid to insert my hcard into my ird. and i know nothing about the situation with the hu. and can somebody tell me what the bloody hell is a bootloader and what it is used for? well all ive got to go now. gonna eat a little leftover meat pie and enjoy a cold lager. any help is appreciated. G'DAY ALL!!

The ecm reports section should fill you in, don't use your h-card untill you know what to do.

Bucaneerfan, Glad to hear you made it back from downunder. Boy do you have some reading to do. First things first, don't put that H card in until you put Dynaceptor63C on it. Then put it in, grab a lager and get to reading about a day that will live on in testing history, known as Black Sunday.

Better yet....don't use the card period till you see what kind of risks there are with putting it back into the data stream....the vast marjority are using...are you ready for this...an [red]emu[/color]:) not one of those long legged birds from down under:D Glad to see you and the family back...

Congratulations on the new addition to your family!!

I would not put an H card in the datastream directly.

Emulation is cheap, easy & I feel the only sane solution @ this time.

Good luck & have a great day!
