second 18 inch dish

i have a third generation receiver with one dish and i want to add a second 18 inch dish to receive 110 degree dtv satellite signal. can i simply install second dish on roof and run rg-6 cable from it to an "a/b" switch to receive signal from desired satellite (101 or 110 degree position)?

what can i receive on dtv birds 95, 110, and 119 ? i have an old third generation receiver. i am going to use an a/b switch inside with two normal 18 inch dishes equiped with single lnbs.
