Can the signals from the two lnbf's be combined outside for installations that have only one cable going into the house?

Yes. Given the following:

The RCA Elipitical dish comes with a 4 input/4output multiswitch (4X4), and two dual LNBs.

The output from the two dual LNBs connects to the four inputs on the supplied multiswitch.

Any of the four outputs from the 4x4 multiswitch (which can be mounted with the supplied hardware to the back of the dish) is the combined signal from all of the LNBs.
(So one cable will have the complete suite of signals).

If you elect to add the third SINGLE LNB for the 110 sat, an additional two-to-one multiswitch has to be added. Either of the cables from the "B" LNB (for the 119 sat) is removed from the 4X4 MS, the "B" cable and the output from the new, third LNB attach to the input of the 2X1, and the output of the 2X1 is connected to the open port on the 4X4.

The 110 satellite only operates on one polarity, so using a dual LNB would be a waste (unless you happen to have one laying around).

Hope this helps.
