Chief fat head from DR7.com felt it neccessary to remove me from his site because I simply stated that I did not like Internet Explorer.
Dr7 changed his forum around and messed it up and so now, you can only see it in Internet Explorer.

So this is my response to his action;

-------

Gee Doc,

I was gonna tell you exactly what you did and what you do to resolve it, but since you rudely deleted my user name from your system,
fix it yourself.

In fact I have noticed a few things that if left un-attended will absolutely murder your server. Again, I will leave you to figure them out and
deal with them. These will only affect you if you start getting a fair number of visitors and daily posts, so you will likely not even need to
cross those bridges anyways.

You want to be a born again *****? Fine. Fill your boots. The rest of us will just stand back and watch you bury yourself as your
advertisers and daily visitors and poster dwindle, and watch your head get fatter, and fatter until one day it just explodes under all the
pressure of all that hot air.

G'day.

Hey Doc, I just returned the favor and banned you from Pirates Den.

You have one of those nice pimply faced icons below your name, looks neat.

Click on the link to see you.

Kinda thought you would make a special one for him, makes the other banned users look bad to be lumped in with him :D

I agree with fordruid. There's the bottom of the barrow. And then there's the slime on the bottom of the barrow.

I'm glad that I picked the right site when I got involved in this hobby... dr7 does not sound like the place to be these days.

Make NO mistake........At (1) time it WAS one of the better sites. Since Doc had his leg problem, I do believe he hit his head, and has not recovered.

But as he is quick to say, it is (was) his site. Funny thing is, he is not technically inclined to have the ability to run the inner workings of his own site.

More and more, it looks like being banned at DR7 is a kind of a badge of honor ! :D

Seems like the only ones left there are the sheep !

So that means that (we) the banned ones are kinda like in the ELITE group......

Who'd a thunk it?

I got my badge of honor and I hold on to it deeply as a reminder to a fond memory...

Its not the drugs or the leg but the real ego attitude of a one who thinks he can still claim hes important because he was the first site.. Blah.. Blah.. Blah..

Now that there are other alternatives like this site where you can openly express yourself many are not holding back and are saying what they wanted to say before.. your one agrorant SOB..

On a serious note, I have visited other forums from time to time also. The den was my first brush with this hobby and the ONLY site that I have joined. The people in control of this site have always seemed to have kept a level head about themselves, which in my opinion has kept the den from going the way of DR7's site and many others.

It's unfortunate that his site has gone downhill. I remember once going over there on a regular basis, but I have done so in over 6 months.

Quite frankly, you can get all the info you need here.

That's exactly why I said that. Those at DR7 who held to their ideals, and who were being consistent and spoke up, are the ones who got banned. It's a damn shame when people who do remain true to themselves are the ones cast out. You helped DR7 as much as anyone ever did, and remained consistent with what you believe. And now, while doing the same thing, you got banned. In the long run, though, you have a lot more people's respect in your consistency.

I know I speak for many, if not all, in saying that we are glad that you're here!

With friends like ole' Doc, theres no need for enemies.

GS2 still has stitches from the backstabbing he took at the hands of the Doc.

BTW: For those interested, check out these 2 pages for a chuckle.

A chuckle? A CHUCKLE?? That's an all-out-roll-on-the-floor-belly-laugh!! Nowhere do they mention anything about the site's founding concepts -- DSS!! Hahahahahha!! What a joke! I did, on occasion go there to pick up some tidbits and stuff, but since all this went down, admittedly I haven't looked over there 'till just now. GS2, you won't have any problem. You have enough backbone to be able to cover any back transplant from any of those knife-wounds!! I hope that time will help in it's usual way to help you with the rest . . .

The sites founding concepts are redundant it seems in light of Dr7.com's expanding mission.

Now... It their mission a 5 year mission, like in star trek, or is it more like mission impossible?

Mission impossible seems a more prudent choice. Odd how Dr7.com is a wholly owned subsiduary of X factor web design, yet their web design team is unable to make their forums function in netscape? I am glad that they did not get the contract to design this site, or we would all be in trouble.

good to be back.

Risestar and i have not always seen eye to eye, but thats in the past.

One thing is for sure about him, though...

he stands by his people, and his boards. through all this crap thats been happening in the community for the last year, that holds a LOT of respect in my eyes.

im just glad he let me come back:)

Anyone taking wagers on how long this "exciting new mission" will last?

I have heard that Dr7 is enjoying his retirement and writing a new book.

"101 ways to kill your successful internet presence in 60 days or less"

As you can see, he really knows his stuff and it promises to be a best seller.
