For all you wrestling entertainment fanatics who do not know, the W.W.F. has purchased the E.C.W, and W.C.W. promotions. This is another step in Vincent McMahon's plot to dominate the "sports entertainment" spot. This give the McMahon's, the wide open gambit for RASTLIN' in both Canada, and the USA.

Looks as though the X.F.L. might die, but Vince plans on plugging forward with his mainstay.

The only inter-promotional match I hope they have is the one to determine just who is the toughest bald S.O.B. in the bizz.

GOLDBERG vs. GILLBERG. HaHaHa. Made ya think didn't I!

I think Vince should stick with what he know best, and that is wrestling. Leave the football stuff to the NFL.

Executioner- Yes you did. :-)

Hey mugs
I haven't read the rasslin news lately but a month ago cnn reported that espn2 bought the wcw. I can't remember who owns espn2 but I don't think its ole vince. So unless ole vince bought espn2 or wcw from the owners of espn2 or cnn was reporting wrong I don't see it. Of course I've been known to have been wrong a lot of times.

raggoon;
You are wrong this time.
I will guarantee that Vince McMahon has indeed purchased both federations. Although ECW is being expplained as being defunct. Shane McMahon will run WCW, and the WWF will be run by Linda McMahon.

WCW fired Mark Madden because of his incompetency of color commentating. The ECW's owner, Paul E. Dangerously has taken over Jerry the King Lawlers spot as commentator.

If you watch both shows tonite, WCW owned by Turner, will show some cross-over members from the WWF tonite.....

Eric Bischoff, is still in the market to purchase a not so well known federation. This will be the last show, that Turner will televise. Look for B.P.Pump to loose the title to Booker T. Unless he goes away from the script, and refuses to loose the title to Booker T. Booker T. has been signed by the WWF. However, BPP has not. That is the reason for the title change.

Vince McMahon has offered to sign the main WCW wrestlers at from 30-60% of the dollar amount of their WCW contracts.....
Do not look for Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, or others to come on board...... They will be paid their full contracts, just to sit at home. According to their contracts.

Wrestlemania, will have a joke battle-royal type of match this year, containing the older members of the W.W.F. (IE) The Iron Sheik, Bushwackers, Sgt. Slaughter, Kamala, etc.......

We will see if my predictions come true.

Hey Muggles. Ain't it great havin people on the inside? A friend of mine up until two or three months ago worked at WWF, she's let me know of all the plot lines. Also, did you hear anything about Goldberg's plans?

Muggles
March 27th, 2001, 06:48 AM
He has been approached by the WWF, and has not signed a contract..... The WWF has offered the WCW guys contracts, but at a reduced rate of their original WCW contracts.....
Some have accepted, and some have not. A few, have given no indication as to their plans..... Some wrestlers, have not been offered a contract........

Nitro girls are gone.......... Looks as though DDP might not come back, as he has not signed as of yet.

The NEW WCW will air on TNN but the time slot will change. It is rumored to air from 11:00P.M.-1:00A.M.

The deal was supposed to go down with the company that created Classic Sports Network. Fusenet mEDIA or something close to that is the name.

Their Classic channel was bought by ESPN. Now ESPN Classic Sports Channel.

The deal fell through after Time Warner/AOL Merger and it was announced that they decided to no longer carry WCW programming on the Turner Networks.

So without a TV channel or any air time Fusenet pulled out of the deal leaving room for the WWF to move in.

I've also heard the samething about the time for NItro on TNN.

I can not give up my friends identity...... They sign a disclosure agreement in their contracts. And they are held to their agreements. Some things are just not for the general publics knowledge. But I will tell you this ....

The person in question.......... (is) or (was) a "GOLD" holder.....

That was a great show. Can't wait to see STone Cold screw Mcmahon again. Maybe Vince will wet his pants again. ...And the plot thickens. Can't believe the Shiek won gimmick B.R. He could barely make it to the ring.

I am one of the biggest Stone Cold fans around! Do you guys think he has sold out or is this a trick on Vinnie Mac?

Last night's show was spectacular! The WWF truely showed why they are the top & only national promotion in the country. The PPV played out so well. Every match had it's place & time and all did great! Some insane bumps in the TLC match, but that is always expected w/ those guys... my favorite has got to be the Vanterminator that Shane did on Vince! What a bump machine he has turned out to be.
