RCA HD Unit

I'm looking for answers regarding the RCA HD IRD.

1. This unit is a "Plus" correct? If so, will I only get the local channels for one zip code with a test card?

2. The remote is infrared only, not UHF?

i have a rca 100 hd it get all 900+ channels and the remote is rf and has good range 3 floors or so

Thanks for the info.

I looked at the unit and it didn't have a jack for an RF antenna like the Sony SAT50A and it wasn't mentioned on the specs.

Good to know about the 900 channels, hate to give them up....
