I was recent was in some hidden menus on my Star Choice, system and am wondering if anyone knew the purposes of them. I believe it was 6-7-7-8-6 and somehow I accessed an another menu from there....It was pretty neat, but I did not remember how I got in there....
I called SC and apparently there are many hidden menus...
That sparked my curiousity.

Those are Diagnostic menus. They tell the installer (or *C) different things about signal, etc etc etc. Also, there is some code in there for your package, PPV, etc etc. If you get into the Diagnostics menus, push right arrow a couple times. Diagnostic C will come up. The number on the far right about 3 lines down (should kind of go up and down .1 or .2 as you watch it) helps tell what you have for signal str and quality (higher the better). That's really about it. There is a master reset in there too, but it's not something I would recommend playing with. lol

I posted about a hidden menu I found a while back as well. Unfortunately, nobody or myself has figured out what it means. It is a memory dump, I know that much because it shows the address starting at 0000h and allows you to scroll through it. You can also punch in an address to jump to. It also has a button to allow editting of memory.
