does anyone know if star or bell would work down in arizona?
or for that matter how far into the states they would work?

Footprint,signal for expressvue goes as far as Mexico

just curious. just recently the situation regarding gray market reception in canada of u.s. dbs was clarified. however, what is the situation regarding gray market reception in the u.s. of canadian dbs?

its called double-dealing
on one hand the biggie wants a monoply in its own
back yard..on the other they take legal high roard
for the other {back-yard}..
for thoses who dont know..hell yes..

also they allow for legal subs from our {other} back-yard there it is in a nut shell

i guess my question was worded too general. what i'm really asking is whether u.s. law specifically prohibits gray market subscribing to canuck dbs.

Yes.. they are not licensed by FCC and are not allowed to broadcast into the US.. but the problem is that DTV or Echo don't care about the tiny wieni market they have nor does the US Government...but ExpressPuke and Star---- love it and people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

BTW.. Star---- signal reaches parts of Hawaii and ExpressPuke signal is stronger in Florida than it is in BC.

i know of a few in california too!!!
my buddy is setting his up right now
bbc, cbc, a few new cartoon channels, and more sports
is easily worth 9.99$ a month for basic service...

Yes, starchoice and bell will work in the US. I know many people who take their systems with them on vacation to the US.
