Just wondering what everyone is doing for the long weekend! My wife and I are taking a trip with some friends! We are driving about 9 hours (West of us) to watch a couple of baseball games and to just get away!
Bringing the laptop of course so I can check in! Whatever you are doing, have a great time, and most importantly stay safe!

We will be staying home. It will be a typical weekend for us...yard work to do tomorrow morning...start to work on our building. Might go to the WOO races Saturday evening with the kids...but then I will be thanking PGM Sunday evening for his work while we watch the WORLD 600.
And I somehow have to think that there will be beer will be involved also:)

I will be spending my weekend spring cleaning. I will be cleaning windows, cleaning the junk room upstairs (it's the room that if I don't feel like putting it away, I throw it in there and keep the door closed) and planting the bushes I bought a month ago that still haven't made it into the ground. I know my weekend doesn't sound like much fun but at least I can take a few looonng breaks to watch the racing on TV.
Next weekend will be better as I will be going to Kansas City for the races. And then the following weekend will be going to Michigan for the Busch race Saturday and then that night going to Eldora for the Million Dollar race. (That's gonna be a good one!) And then I'm gong to fall on my face because all of this chasing I do wears me out.
Take care!

Our weekend is going to be very similar to last weekend and the weekend before that and the weekend before that weekend. Attending four or five youth baseball games. Their entertaining but sometimes there’s a 2 or 3 hour wait in between games so you can’t get much done around the house or do what I enjoy doing like fishing, golfing etc. Oh well, I guess I’m just lucky that their healthy, happy and out of trouble. With any luck their days as a youth will be better then mine were as a youth. But let’s not forget all the men & women who lost their lives:( in the service. We should all take a moment and remember them in our prayers.

Hey ^Falcon_65^, could you possibly bring that train out to California. I'd hate to think I couldn't get into the trailer park because we are gonna have a blackout or two.

Long weekend, I wish. Mine was last weekend. Hope everything is O.K. with you Angel.
But this weekend I will be out enjoying the 30 degree C weather. (Since it's not usually that warm up here for another month!)

Angel28,
I am in the same situation as you right now so I will think of you and remind you to keep your head high. You deserve to be happy, healthy and with someone who makes you "feel the love"! 50% of the acumulation of you marriage in most cases is a fair and equitable place to start.
I am leaving in an hour for three days of fun, sun, BBQ and cocktails on my boat at Grapevine Lake. My motto for weekends and holidays is: IF ALCOHOL IS A CRUTCH, SOMEBODY BETTER FIX ME AN ELECTRIC F***ING WHEELCHAIR!
Everyone please remember why we celebrate Memorial Day!
Fly your American Flag this weekend to honor our great country and more importantly to honor the men and women who have given the ultimate sacrafice for our freedom.
To all of you who have served our country: I S A L U T E Y O U !

Angle, Milogone (patio chair counselor) strongly recomends reading a book called Practical Divorce Solutions. $14 at your bookstore. Check up on this author,http://www.divorcehelp.com/DHC/Ed.html
PS. only would suggest something that's helped me.

Good Luck Angel, I'll be here telepathically beaming some positive vibes your way. I hope you can feel them!
My daughter graduated high school this past Friday and she is with her friends in Panama City, Fl.
I guess I'll sit here at home and worry about her like an old man. :)

Angel -- hang in there!
Sat. -- went to the lake. It rained. Sucks!
Sun. -- went to a block party for our neighborhood. It sucked!
Mon. -- BUSTED!!! -- my wife opened the closet she had no business opening. I bought 21 walmart units and had them stored in there. She's not happy. She views those units as the headboard she's been wanting for awhile that i've been putting off. I've now been trying to explain how we are going to triple our money when the market gets right for selling the units. Problem is, cards seem to be selling for about 60-70 bucks now. That doesn't even cover the time and gas for driving a 100 mile radius to pick up the dang things! And now, i HAVE to take her to the furniture store for a headboard (i was planning further upgrades to my '78 blazer [not now!]). Sucks!
