TV over the net

My wife and I made this bet to see if we can go a week with out tv (its a long story).
Anyways we agreed that we could still use the net. Now I remember about a year ago or so on the Today show there was a web site out of Canada. That broadcasted US tv shows over the net. Does anyone know this site? Or any other that does. I know it is a loop hole but if it works. Than I still win the bet.

I don't know much about it, but i believe you have to have special software to do it, and maybe even hardware. I could be wrong. I dont know of any sites. Good Luck.

Thanks for replying. That web site I was talking about just broadcast(ed) the networks. Just CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX. No HBO or anything like that. If they did get shut down that would explane why I cant find there site.
