Nothing to do with DSS, but I purchased a cable box BEFORE I ever had cable (It was either a High school ring or money! lol.. You know where the money went!).... My parents were to cheap to get it so I waited, waited some more and then I got frustrated and I was dying to use the Cable box.....
So what did I do??.......
I ran a cable from my next door neighbors house without them knowing in the middle of the night, tried to conceal it by burying it in the dirt!! lol.... It went fine for 2 days until my neighbor saw and traced out the line and told my parents.....
Dam, did I catch a beaten that day! lol.....
Of course, this was like 12 years ago....
