Okay, Now we Know what the problem is. How could we have missed it for so long. Our IRD's have been telling us lies right from the get go. I can't believe it, I trusted my IRD very much and now I feel betrayed. I am going to get rid of my IRD and when I get a new one I don't think I will ever be able to trust it.

Ok. After reading all of this, I figured why not. I went over to my IRD and upon closer inspection, it said on the bottom "rub for a genie." I was shocked :eek: and figured what the hell. So I rubbed and rubbed until it was smoking (I knew I shouldn't have used a wet cloth) and lo and behold, out popped a genie! :cool: The genie was this hot blonde (I'm sure I've seen her on channel 598 a few times) and she said in this ---y voice "I'm the Genie of Dave TV. I will grant you 1 wish and 1 wish only. And no, you cannot wish for more wishes. So, what'll it be?" Well, needless to say I was shocked and it took me a couple of minutes to compose myself. She just stood there smiling at me, saying nothing. I said to her, "Well genie, first of all I would like to see you naked since my wife isn't home." She said, "Is that your wish?" I said, "No, I would just like to see you naked." She said, "Wishes only, no freebies." Dismayed, I sat down on the couch and began to think really hard about what my wish should be. Now, this was not easy, since the genie was dressed in very little; a tiny bikini top and a dental floss g-string. That was a major distraction, I tell you. But, during my musings (with channel 598 going in the background, another distraction of course) I thought "What would my fellow Den Members do?" So I quickly logged onto the Den and looked over a few posts, trying to determine what everyone would want me to wish for. The genie, meanwhile, had sat down on the couch and started flipping through the channels, trying to find Martha Stewart. I read as fast as I could, knowing that I should hurry and come up with my 1 wish. Finding it finally, I smiled because I knew what it was that my fellow Den Members would want me to wish for. I went over to the genie and said "I know what I want for my 1 wish." She smiled and said "Ok, wish away." I said, "Genie, I wish for an HU card unlooper." The genie frowned and said, "Well there is no such a thing. It's like leprechauns and elves. It's not real." "But genie!" I said, "you can make it happen, you're an all-powerful genie after all!" "No, sorry," the genie said, "even I can't make it happen. Do you have something else you want to wish for?" Upset and disappointed, I figured, what the hell. "Ok. I wish I could see you naked."

The ird genie is actually an agent of dtv. Dave sent her down in the last ecm packet. Once she is summoned, all hell will break lose. She'll drink all your beer, she'll kick your dog, she'll give you a disease, she'll tell your wife all those things wives aren't supposed to know, and she'll permanently hash the 590's. YOU MUST GET RID OF HER NOW!!! The only known method of doing this is to turbounloop her (thanks aol). She hasn't given you a table dance yet, has she?

Hey, I didn't say they weren't real. The IRD genie said that. And no she didn't give me a lap dance, thank god. She removed her bikini top and I was thinking, "Wow, nice." Then she removed her tiny g-string but just stood there with her legs crossed. I asked her to turn around but she wouldn't. Intrigued, I got up and spun her around. To my horror, she wasn't a she after all!! :eek: I screamed in disgust and yelled "Get thee behind me, Dave's Demon!" Just like that, she, or "he" vanished. Good thing too. The hockey game is about to start. :D
