One nice summer day little Stephanie, with her puppy trailing behind, came into the garage where her father was working on the family car.
"Daddy can I take Fluffy for a walk?" she asked.
"I don't think that's a very good idea honey because Fluffy is in heat right now."
"What's that?"
Visibly rattled by this unexpected question and not wanting to try and explain 'heat' to her he says "Well I guess it will be ok but wait just a minute" and he takes a rag with a tiny bit of gasoline on it and rubs it on Fluffys behind figuring that the gasoline odor will keep the male dogs away. So off they go down the sidewalk, pigtails and puppy tail bouncing away. About twenty minutes later here comes Stephanie but without her puppy.
"Where's Fluffy?", asks dad.
"OH she ran out of gas next door and another doggie is pushing her home."
