Just The Facts

I would like to say something I think everyone should consider on both sides of the you said he said dispute.
I have not been posting at the Forum Sites site for very long now just a couple of months. To be honest I think this infighting is foolish. I believe dime just doesn't understand the real issues here and is not likely to for some years to come, going from my own life experience.
If dime doesn't want to donate and doesn't see a need to, then that is his right. His right in my opinion also extends to the right not to be insulted or called names as a result of his choice as much as I may like to.
I do not know dime and probably never will and I strongly disagree with his belief on these issues and I even more strongly protest his words that I have read here and at other forums.
I am over 40 now and I like to believe wiser than when I was 20. When I was young I said and did many things I latter regretted. I rode with people who's action I now find unacceptable. I often found I opened my mouth first without engaging my brain as to the real consequences of my words. What was worse is the things I threaten in anger and hatred like I'll get you and I piss on your grave, (that is not a dime quote but a quote from my youth)or do you harm in some way, or harm your interest, I never meant and never acted on, they were just the words of an inexperienced youth who had a lot to learn about life and people. They were just empty words. Young men by Nature get out into the world and try to take it by the horns they typically are afraid of nothing even death itself this has been shown to be true by many studies. They also have a pride and stubbornness that only mellows with age. Nothing anyone can say will change the mind of a young man with his mind made up NOTHING. Only trial and error changes a young mans ways. And very few young men understand the concept of an Intellectual argument, which consists of the ability to keep the conversation and the attacks on a civil and not a personal level.
To Risestar I would ask that he delete all the post from the thread Supreme court Battle from the point it went off track to the end. Then reopen the thread as it was actually working and motivating people to donate to the Trust fund.
To dime I would say take the advice of someone who learned the hard way always wait at least a few days before you answer any accusation against you, especially ones that you feel or know are False. And take Thumpper's advice from Bambi "if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all" Trust me dime this paragraph it is really good advice and will serve you well in life.
To TTRK and GS2 and all the other modds at IM I would ask that you show the whole Industry what kind of people you are, the people you selfless effort has shown you to be. Show dime and everyone else what integrity means, please remove all post that have to do with this issue. I know I ask a lot, I know I am knew to these Forums and these battles, and I know that a lot of cruel things have been said, but I would point out this. By removing the post you will create even more confidence in your integrity and there by in your efforts and in the eyes of the community. You will show the ENEMY just what kind of Integrity they are up against. You will show them that there Adversaries on this issue are men of integrity and stature. That their Adversaries are a well oiled machine that stays the course regardless of Government oppression or other outside influences. You will show them that we are going to crush their arguments in the courts and on the field of Public opinion. We all know they watch and read the forums. I don't know about you but I have learned that a barking dog rarely bites, it is the dog that sits there quietly un distracted with stout determination that is the dog to fear, and our Adversaries on this issue should fear us, show them we are that quiet stout dog guarding Canadians rights.
Let us all concentrate on the job at hand and not waste hours of time on something that in the end is not relevant to the task at hand. I ask you again to show the whole Industry the kind of People you really are, the kind of people I know you to be, please remove the posts and lets end this in fighting and pointless waste of time and energy here and now. Many people have already read the post and know the goings on here, the posts do not serve our purpose and only distract from our efforts. The reality of life is if you take up a battle there will always be those who criticize and falsely accuse you, it comes with the Territory. The majority of people see through the false accusations and understand the real issues and respond according to the level of integrity you show, which in my opinion has be very high to date very high indeed.
I ask everyone involved in this battle to ponder my words and act as their heart tells them to.
