In the dialog between DeeEssEss and risestar that was posted on the HackHU site until recently, it was mentioned that DTV had Paypal in their back pocket. Is there any truth to that? I ask because paypal could be a gold mine of a DTV hacker "end user" list.

Paypal is a US corporation, wouldnt be hard for them to get their records. That is why we use an offshore credit card provider.

Pay Pal is scum of the earth as far as I'm concerned, after the experiance I'd with them. I will not do anything
with those guys anymore or anybody that says I have to use there services to get products from them. Merchant accounts
are easy to get, unless your in telemarketing. I would be
no big supprise to see those jerks in DTV's pocket.

Just like ANY banking institution... PayPal has a legal obligation to cooperate with authorities when requesting transactional information. PayPal would be no different. And since PayPal has all your personal info on file, along with any credit card info and bank info... it would be a great target for law enforcement. (After all... when cops go into action... they always start investigations by the primary steps... following the money is typically step one.)
