The letter allows the end user to escape prosecution if he or she agrees to immediately surrender all equipment used to illegally access DirecTV's signal, never again purchase such devices, buy a one-year contract to legally receive the satellite signal, pay $500 in restitution to DirecTV and provide the company with information on how the pirate equipment was purchased.

1. What if I do not have any equipment anymore?
2. How can you tell me what to buy in the future?
3. One year, Hell I have had a Platinum for years.
4. Pay $500, hell I am paying about $90 + now, per month.
5. On how the equipment was purchased...Mouse click

I sold all my equipment, and don't keep any records, do I need any? I am paying for my Platinum, do you want me to cancel? Both of my IRD phone home. Hell I even purchase a movie from time to time.

5. Would you really upset a automatic paying Platinum Sub, over 3 years customer, with phoning home IRD's, and a PPV occasional?

Oh well, the government wants to bust me for flaming up my Bud too.
