Well.....to date I have built Programmers, F unloopers, H unloopers, DPBB's, HU Daughter Boards, HU Loaders and I never had any problems. But yesterday I had nothing better to do, so I figured I build a "one chip" internal DPBB. Took one of my receivers and went for it. No board, no nothing. Soldered the wires directly to the chip and to the ISO slot and board. 10 minutes later I plugged it in, and nothing. All I got is HVAC. I checked card and all connections and it was all Ok...Card was Ok in a external DPBB but not in the Internal one...So, I knew it was not the card. I checked the chip in an external DPBB prior to starting the solderig and it was Ok....I must have checked it all about 10 times and I could not find anything wrong. Took another receiver and did it all over again with same results.. All I could think is "What the F*** ? " But about 2 hrs later I figured it out.........I grabbed the wrong value f***ing resistor...
Boy....was i pissed.

In high school many many years ago myself and some friends cut school(always boring) and went to Disneyland. Back then it wasn't 1 price to get in and have unlimited use to all attractions. Each ride was a ticket, the better the ride the higher the value the ticket. Tickets were A-E, E being the best. Well we had enough money to get in but didn't have enough for rides. So we decided to jump the fence to get in. Got in, hid for a while but couldn't figure how to get to the main area. We had jumped the fence behind the jungle cruise water ride. 5 minutes later here comes security, so needless to say mom and dad were not very happy.

Came home a little intoxicated one night, and put my only HU into my modified emu reciever. I have done this before, but I forgot to unplug the wires going to the computer. Worked OK at first, next morning IVAC. Cant fix it. Not the dumbest thing I'v ever done, but still pretty stupid.

When I was young my grandfather and I built a boat in the basement from a set of plans. When it was all done and painted up nice we realized it wouldn't fit through the bulkhead.

trying to date more than 1 woman at a time...man,that has to be the dumbest thing I've done. You have to remember what you've said & done with each one...and pray you don't confuse those things.

Well, It wasn't me, but it was done to me, kinda.....I had a roomate that poured a whole jar of carpet fresh in my brand new air conditioner so it would make the house smell nice. I also caught him pouring a box of corn starch into the iron, because he wanted to starch his shirt!! The iron was useless after that.

The dumbest thing I have done recently is spend a day trying to unloop an H card only to to find it wasn't an H card but an F card. I had never seen one before, but it looked like an H card to me. My friend said it came from his dad's old receiver, one of the first models sold and that it had cost him like $600 dollars when he bought it. That should have clued me in. When I looked at the bottom of the card carefully I finally saw it. Sometimes I am just dense, lol.

This has got to be the dumbest thing yet. When I was 18 years old a friend and I broke into a local gas station and of course we got caught. When I went to court I got 2 years in prison and was placed in the county jail to wait to be transported to the prison. Well while I was in the county jail I got my brother to bring me some hacksaw blades. After sawing off 2 1/2 bars I got caught (again). I got 5 more years added on for that. Well unknowing to me was the fact that my dad and my lawyer had made a deal with the judge to send me to prison for only 60 days, then bring me back and place me on probation (shock probation). Needless to say the deal was gone. By the was , my brother got 5 years for the blades.
