Zack,
There are a couple of options out there, but none of them are simple. First, the options there are will only work [yellow]If you are not on a cable modem.[/color]
Cable modems tag all transmissions with a header that cannot be spoofed. It's just the nature of the beast. So if you have a phone modem, and use TCP/IP protocol under Windows, then there are a few programs out there called IP Spoofers. Do a keyword search on any of the search engines and include the words "IP , Spoof, and Hackerz" and you will find your way to some sites that have them.
A word of warning... they are not always 100% reliable. Alot of it depends on the kind of server that the host is running. But it would be worth a try.
Also you could always try to talk to the Server Admin and explain the whole thing, oh and maybe kick that friend of your in the head a couple times ;) (what was he thinking anyway?)
