Anyone have experience with this??
On the way to Colorado last week my "Check Engine" light came on and truck started running like PooPoo. Took it to a Ford Dealership in Colorado Springs and two days and $500 latter I pick up truck and head home and have same problem.
Called that dealership and got runaround, called local Dealership were I know some guys and got a Ford Customer Service # and got Basically same runaround, took it to local dealership and got it fixed in about 1.5 hours for $140. (O2 sensor)
anyhoot I put it on my MC and want to dispute charges for a job not done, has anyone had this type of problem?
thanx, finkle

Phone you c.c company....if they are like mine you will get a letter in the mail that you will have to sign to allow them to dispute the charges, after you sign it the company can then dispute them. It took about 2 1/2 weeks to have the money credited to my card.

i dont generally use credit cards, however.
i had some computer repairs done that where botched, complained to bank and they charged back the whole job to the vendor, and gave him 30 days to respond.
he didnt,i kept my money !
always remember,if you have an atm card that looks like a visa or mc,buts its just a check card.
when you buy goods or services, you tell them its a credit card, not an atm.
gives you the same rights as a cc purchase,if you tell them its an atm and they process it as such, you have no rights !

I guess I shouldn't dog the Ford, 190,000 miles and this is the first thing I've done to it other than regular maint..
I did have to replace a seal between the trans. and transfer case but that is it. I hate that it is starting to rust though, I guess living in my area I have to put up with that.
