I have downloaded a few movies from kazaa and burned to video cd using nero 5.5. The quality is o.k., the burn process takes hours and most have Japanese or Chinese subtitles (sorry, I can't tell the difference), but hey, it's just fun playing with this stuff, and movies that are playing in theatres now are available.

Question:

I am having a problem with the DivX downloads. I can not view them (windows media player) or burn them (nero 5.5). For instance, I have a file with the following properties:

Audio Format: MPEG Layer-3,63 kBit/s, 44,100 Hz, Mono

Video Format: 320 x 240, 81267 Frames, 24.992 Frames/Sec, 5 KB/Sec, Unknown Format

Anyone with any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Also checkout vcdhelper and you can use a program called "tmpgenc" to convert avi, divx to vcd.

BC, go to vcdhelper.com, they have great tutorials on editing and converting and also links to all needed software. Here is the link you need hxxp://vcdhelper.com/convertdat.htm , you will need to get a copy of VCDGear.
