I'd have to go with cable. Dish Network albeit a razor-sharp digital picture, isn't worth the trouble. If you already have an analog cable feed being piped into your home, you can buy a universal analog cable descrambler on ebay for under $100.00. And, yes - it does work (depending on your system).

I'd have to go with Charlie due to analog cable not reaching more than 300 feet from the road you live on (in my area), I live a half mile from my road. I called Dave and he told me that they are renegotiating a contract with WWFE. I'll call him back in a couple weeks to see if anything comes about.

Someone that frequents http://www.rajahwwf.com also called. Here's what came of that conversation:

As you probably know, JR mentioned several times that Summerslam was to be
the final PPV on DirecTV. After hearing this, needless to say I was hoppin'
mad. I contacted DirecTV about the matter and was told that the information
was incorrect. Unforgiven WILL be available to DirecTV subscribers and
contract negotiations for future PPV's are in the works and close to being
resolved. This info came STRAIGHT from a DirecTV representative, after I
told them if I didn't get the next PPV, I was going to switch to digital
cable. I encourage all DirecTV subscribers to call DirecTV about this matter
and express your concern. The DirecTV rep assured me that they don't want to
disappoint their customers.
