I am moving into my new home that I Pre-Wired for both cable and DTV. When I called the cable company for a good rate on Digital basic and RoadRunner service, I was surprized to find out about this Plan? They will give you every chanel (except PPV) and the R/R for a year at half price if I give them my DTV receiver and dish plus show them my last months bill for DTV. This will be about $8 more than I am paying for DTV with two receivers & HBO/Cenamax programing. I sure hope they are not pickey as what reciever and "F-Card" I trade in.....Anybody ever try this?....trw00

I did a plan almost like that. I recieved all movies channels free for a year, plus the first month cable for free, and got 4 months of roadrunner for free. I didn't have to give them my reciever, just show last months bill. Also did free installation.

I think the digiatl cable is terrible, I prefer the dish. cancelled my cable, but the roadrunner definetely worth it.
Just my opinion, I would stick with dish.

Maybe you can trade in your emulator for a cable 'black box'?

;) I have offices in several systems and all of them have the dish buyback program. They will accept the "F" card. When my guys have an install with a buyback I swap out the card with BLACK SUNDAY or F cards. I started out with 28 junk cards and got 15 good "H" cards and the rest "HUs". They are now requireing that the card # be printed on the work order, but I get them B4 they do that."H" HU F Gotta love the that competition between those guys.;)
