Is any mfg selling a HDTV receiver as of this date...
If so who...?
If not so ...when...?
and will/does work with test card...?

RCA has the best one so far. I have it and am really happy with it. It decodes DSS HD and over the air HD and also has connections for cable input. It has optical sound out and two sets of outputs for audio video, 2 svideo and RGB HD output. $650 not including eliptical dish. Oh and yes it works with test card.

I saw the RCA HDTV DSS set at a store the other day. It was hooked up to a 34" CRT 16x9 set. Very cool. Only drawback is you cant get the local channels over DTV in the 900 range.

It's the only thing going on right for the money. You could get all the local 900 channels before the firmware update.They will come back when D.. gets the 3RD LMB working.It was a tradeoff for the NASA & 2 or 3 more channels
